Cockpit
Cockpit in the header opens the session panel. The badge is pending runs for this persona plus active background jobs. Click outside the panel on a desktop to close it. On a phone it is a sheet, and the service briefing is at the top.
Status strip
Section titled “Status strip”- Queue opens the run queue. Brass means something is pending. A destructive color means the queue could not be read.
- Background opens the same dialog. It counts shell and agent jobs that are still active.
- LLM and Channels say ready or missing.
- Restart needed appears when workspace, bind, or vault path changes are still owed. See Restart.
The strip refreshes on a poll. Open the queue for the runs themselves.
Run queue
Section titled “Run queue”Run queue lists pending and running agent work, first in, first out, for this persona. All personas includes the rest of the chat.
Queued items can be removed immediately. Running items can be stopped. A row opens its detail: persona, source, label, and elapsed time. Background jobs in the same dialog are shell, optimize, or agent. Stopping a run is cooperative: it lands between tool iterations.
Operator memo
Section titled “Operator memo”The memo is a short steering note for this persona. It is injected into the system prompt. It is separate from tiered memory and from Records → Memory.
Edit it, then Save memo. Clear removes it. The count is characters after trim, against the field’s cap. A persona must be selected.
Bookmarks
Section titled “Bookmarks”The cockpit lists up to twelve bookmarks for this persona. Open one to jump to that message in the main thread. Remove one without closing the cockpit. A missing message is marked deleted.
