Vault

The Obsidian vault is Markdown you can read, search, and index. MemPalace brings back what this turn needs. The archive is not pasted into the prompt. Vault operating procedures stay in context.

Set the notes path, vector database, collection, principles file, embedding server URL, and git repo in the setup wizard or under Settings → Environment. Those path changes need Restart Meido.

Records → Principles edits AGENTS.md for the workspace. That file is the principles path when VAULT_PRINCIPLES_PATH points at it. A missing principles file is written on the first start. An existing one is left as it is until you save.
