Skills

Skills and MCP servers are yours to install on this machine. There is no fixed catalog and no cap. Ask Meido to connect an MCP server here. Place mcp.json in the workspace directory. Meido activates the skills a persona is allowed to use.

Persona → Skills defaults to allow-all. Restrict skills to selected, pick the skills, then save. Clear the selection and save to block every skill. Allow all skills turns the restriction off.

Checks run around a turn: before it starts, around tool use, before the reply is delivered, and after delivery. The built-in set syncs focus, applies scheduler policy, gates skills, stops a stuck tool loop, handles a reply that is too dense to drop into chat, and scrubs secrets. You can add your own.

Persona → Hooks uses the same allow-all default. Restrict hooks to selected, then save. Clear and save to block every hook. Hook creation and enable/disable go through the create-hook skill. Saving the hook policy does not change the skill allowlist.

Prompt hooks can name their own model. Otherwise they use the Prompt hooks row under Settings → System LLM.
