Secrets
Secrets stay masked, and output is redacted. A blank secret field is skipped. Do not put secret values in the chat, the docs, or a commit.
Where a key is saved
Section titled “Where a key is saved”| Kind | Where |

| Provider API keys | Settings → Connections, or the setup wizard. They apply when you save them. |
| Cursor bridge key | Settings → Connections → Bridge agent. The sidecar reads it the next time it starts. |
| Channel tokens | Settings → Integrations. Restart Meido after changing them. |
| Web access token | Settings → Environment, or the wizard’s Web access step. Required off this machine. |
A name the agent stores with vault_secret |
Persona → Vaulted secrets. The value is in the runtime secrets file. The desk shows the name only. |
Forget a vaulted name
Section titled “Forget a vaulted name”Open Persona. Vaulted secrets lists names for this persona. Forget removes that name. The value is not shown. Names saved before persona tagging are under Shared (legacy) and can be forgotten from the same list.
