Web cockpit

After meido start, open http://127.0.0.1:10961. The setup wizard stays open until the workspace, vault, a model, the system LLM, MemPalace, and Steel Browser are in place.

The desk has three sidebar modes: Personas, Groups, and Board. The hash is empty for Personas, #groups for Groups, and #board for Board. On a phone, Personas & theme opens that sidebar. On a desktop, the sidebar button hides or shows it.

While a persona is open, the header shows that name, the session picker, and side chats. Main chat stays one continuous thread. Topics title stretches of that same log, and a named session is optional. The title on a phone opens Session, topics, and view.

Control What it does
Cockpit Opens the session panel: queue, background jobs, the operator memo, and bookmarks. The badge counts pending runs plus active background jobs.
Inbox Opens new messages and todos. The badge is the unread count.
Persona Opens this persona’s dossier: profile, engine, hooks, and skills.
Settings Opens shared setup for every persona.
Records Opens Schedules, Artifacts, Terminal (when enabled), Principles, Memory, and Agent run debug. See Records.

On a phone, Tools is the same set: records, then Persona configuration and Web UI configuration.

A brass dot on a persona means that persona has a new message. The active badge means channel messages route to that persona.

The palette button is Theme color. It lists six Lit Parlor rooms: Lit Parlor (default), Sakura Gaslight, Matcha Tea Room, Velvet Salon, Amber Hearth, and Wisteria Room. There is no More colors section.

The sun or moon button switches Light mode and Dark mode. That is a wash over the chosen color. The command palette can switch it too.

Press Cmd/Ctrl + K. Search personas, recent sessions, side chats, and these actions: Open Persona, Open Settings, Open Inbox, Open Ops, Open Terminal (when the terminal is available), Toggle Cockpit, Toggle Sidebar, switch light or dark, Keyboard shortcuts, and New session.

Press ? for the shortcut list. / focuses the composer. Esc dismisses a quoted reply. Cmd/Ctrl + Enter sends from the composer, and creates a session from the new-session dialog. Shortcuts are for the desktop.
